CORRECTION TO THIS RECORD. It previously said MSport's own wording 'still credits the National Gaming Board and Vodafone Cash, both stale'. The Vodafone half is right, Vodafone Ghana became Telecel Ghana in 2023. The Gaming Board half is not: no body called the National Gaming Board has ever existed in Ghana. The Gaming Commission was created by the Gaming Act 2006 (Act 721); before it, oversight sat directly with the Ministry of the Interior under Act 31 (1960), Act 78 (1961), NRCD 174 and NRCD 320. Calling it a stale name asserts a rename that never happened, about a named real company. MSport's site is JS-rendered and could not be read to confirm what it actually prints, so the claim is withdrawn rather than restated. The same sentence ships live on /guides/check-a-licence-gaming-commission/ and /bookies/msport/ and needs removing there too.
